Gold Tip has wood grain Carbons. I shoot them out of my Great Plains Recurve, and my nocks are not green. Just kidding. Whatever floots your boat. They are nice looking arrows!!!

Nice job,

They do stand out so they certainly should be easy to find!

Just kidding,

It's a toss up on the nocks though, good contrast should make them easy to spot, but the artist in me says now to that green on that much orange, but if you like 'em, hey great!

Laramy !

I'm getting ready to fletch myself up some new Axis's and I even went out and found some dark green nock's for my colour choice's ,since they only come with orange. I also thought of some feather's ,but decided to wait till next time .I'm not going to tell you what choice's I made for colour's but you'll see them posted when I get finished .
Great job on the arra's bud.

I disagree COMPLETELY!! Leave the green nocks, they really set off the yellow!

Very nice indeed!! Barred is always a good choice!
I also like the green but I didn't notice any yellow on the arrow

Looks good! Leave the nocks on there! I have some that are similar, but they have 2 orange barred and one yellow barred. My new Full Metal Jackets are HOT though. Yellow zebra Bohning wraps with 2 black and one yello blazer. I'll throw some pics up either tonigt or tomorrow.

nice arrows I would stay with green nocks I agree with mo it realy sets off the orange. You shouldnt have any problem seeing those arrows whizz into a big bucks vitals.

Great job! I've always liked the looks of feathers, and might give them a try sometimes myself.

I think the green nocks are fine, but would seem to "go" much better if you did some simple cresting in a similar green.

the wraps you can order at : http://www.carolinafalls.com/
they ship very fast are high quality and do not have a high price tag at all
but they only sell solids but you could still make some cool looking arrows

As for the glue Im using AAE Fastset in a very thin bead along the base of the feather
