Just wondering how much people are into this sport. This is my first year bowhunting. So I havnt had much of a chance to spend money(unless you count my decked out Hoyt) But will be buying clothes, treestand, and some other stuff before the season starts. Total so far? About $700.

Archery equipment itself? Probably not a ton. Couple hundred maybe. All hunting gear combined??? I don't even want to know. LOL

Well let's see, pretty much have most stuff. However, when I get home from Iraq, gonna set up my York for back up and it will be between 200-400.00 to get the sights and rest and stabilizer I want. It will be as close to the Matthews as can be so using sights or rest will be no different and be set to go. I can't imagine how much someone would have to spend to get into the sports these days!

I have well under $500 in mine , haven't spent a dime in 3 years . When you shoot recurve you don't need toys .

Currently I have everything I need , so for the last three years the answer has been zero . When you shoot trad your needs are simple .

Several thousand a year; new camos, Double Bull blinds( I have 2) new bows; my wife hunts too so we have twice the expense. We both bought new Trykons this year and traded in our 1 and 2 year old bows.

Where are you guys getting all these cool smileys???? Nifty.

Anyway, this year.......wait a second...think I heard the wife.....*looks around*....ok, the coast is clear. $1300. To justify this in my own head, I often sell stuff I no longer use to pay for it. I would say that's about what I spend annualy, prolly a little more.

EXACTLY the same for my husband and I. Unfortunately, I'm the one with the obsession and I'm not very good at getting rid of anything, sooooo....we both still have our Hoyt Vipertecs and love our new Trykons. Now I'm thinking of changing to Spot Hogg sights and he doesn't like his Trophy Ridge so there you go $$$$$$$$$
