ilovehunting: Ill get some pics up tonight later on tonight.

Hardcore: They didn't have an Allegiance. I really wanted to try one but I'm still happy with the Tribute.

txrookie: Me too there partner. Maybe my peep wont be coming undone on this one.

Rickmur. I had to pay $105.00. He gave me $630 for the trykon and I had to pay sales tax on the new one. I wasnt expecting that.

Bowhuntingfool: Im glad I made the switch as well. Can't wait to go hunting.

xtec: I like it alot. It seems quieter than the Trykon and not as much hand shock.

Davec: so what did you use for silencers afterwards.

Mobow: Im sorry man.

teejay: yeah right!

Ducsauce, for now I'm using an STS and the bow is as quiet as need be to hunt with. It actually got quieter last week whenI finally served the area where the string hit's it.

BUT if it wasn't for my noiser than should be rest & sight I wouldn't be using the Sts and would go with something like Bowjax or simms string silencers(the new ones)

Without the STS I can hear my sight & restmaking noise during the shot, with the STS the noise is gone (removing what little vibration remains). I think the sight is my main culprit (VBG pro-slide= moving parts)& it might get replaced next year, for now I'm gonn leave well enough alone. I've got other coals in the fire to stoke [&:].

BTW, when I lost mylower string thing (I cut them off when they start throwing arms) I picked up 1 fps and the sound the bow made stayed the same, whenthe upper was removedI lost 1 fps and picked up the string"twang".

Right now I'm running the STS with 1 brass nock high & low next to the factory speed nocks. This helped return the speed to before silencer loss status. I'm wanting to try the bowjax (1 on top only) since they claim a speed advantage and long life.

Its the 60/70 model. I made a mistake on the speed. It is actually shooting 297 fps instead of 291.

Thanks D. My trykon was shooting 281 at 65 pounds. I don't know what it would have done at 70#. Whats yours shooting?

If your Tryk was shooting 281 @ 65, and you're getting 297 with the same arrows @ 70, there's absolutely no question that your Tribute is a much faster bow. But, we know that's not all there is ... Add in a much-nicer draw cycle, and you've got yourself a winner!

Congrats on your new baby!
