I shot a young piebald buck a few years ago that was nearly all-white. I took the hide in to get it tanned after I skinned it. However, I had made the mistake of washing the blood off first and then didn't take it to the taxidermist right away. I forgot about it for a couple days and when I took it in, the fur fell off when he was fleshing it. [X(]

Yeah I would.

How much was that mount Fieldmouse if you don't mind?
He ran me $1200. I got him in the shop 12/31/99.The taxidermist'sNew Years resolution was to not accept any new customers and start reducing the ones he had because he and his wife wanted to retire. He was known to be the best in the tri-state area. In fact he was doing a full mount replica for some museum of the PA State non-typical record. I got to hold the replica rack in my hands. He told meit cost 5k to reproduce.
