I got one at Walmart last year that is kind of like a block. 2x sides are for fieldpoints, the other two are for broadheads. I have shot the heck out of this thing and it still keeps ticking. I think it is called the 4x4. I paid $24 IIRC.

I love my bag target for field points but got tired of it tipping over with the cheap metal stakes they give you to prop it up so I built my own stand out of treated lumber and that problem has been eliminated. Cost me less than $5versus the "fancy" metal stands the sporting goods stores try to push on you. Plus its sturdier. My 2 cents.

You can find bag targets for around 30 bucks. I got pretty big one at Dicks sporting goods for around 25 bucks. Or you can take a burlap sack or nylon feed bag and fill it with cut up rags, jeans, shirts, blankets or pillow stuffing (poly fill), or any combination of the above. This is what is in most that you buy anyway. If you use clothes or jeans don't let it get wet before you shoot it. You will have one heck of a time getting your arrows out without leaving a big hole in the target.
You can also buy empty bag targets with faces already on them and fill them yourself.
And if you want a broad head target find a local Insulation place and get a block of foam, they work pretty well.
