ct hunter, first welcome to the forums. You've found a great home here and I wish you years of information and comradorie.

Being new here you won't know so it bears repeating. I've recently purchased my first Bowtech after shooting for Hoyt for more than 10 years. Simply put, I fell in love with the Allegiance. While searching for the best possible setup I came down to this one and it can be seen in my signature.

I added the new Trophy Taker Pronghorn drop away rest. I am very impressed with it as it is my first drop away. Previously I've always shot Bodoodle Pro 500 and Pro Lites.

For a sight, I went to the Eastern Sports and Outdoor show in Harrisburg to handle sights. I found the Viper Predator Pro Microtune. It is an amazing sight. Problem is, I ordered it in February, was promised it the end of March and it is now nearly June....They haven't started production after moving their facilities. I'm going to contact them one more time and see what they have to say before coming here and letting all the readers know what I think of them.

There are a gazillion good sights out there. Check out the Cobra line, specifically the Sidewinder series. Very rugged, bright wrapped fibre sights. I have the Vital Bow Gear StarTrack on my set up and really, really like it. Another good single pin slider would be the HHA Optimizer and the Cobra King Cobra I.

Rests, well, this is even more diverse than the sights. I would go with a good drop away, such as the Trophy Ridge Drop Zone. I like the Trophy Taker that Rob has, I just didn't like the idea of the rest landing on the shelf of the bow. Another fantastic option is the Whisker Buscuit.

Bottom line, head to your local pro shop and look them over. You'll decide which one you like.

I just got the Tribute a few weeks ago. Awesome bow!!! I put a toxonics 3 pin and a QAD pro ultra rest. The rest is awesome for the fact it is a drop away and a full containment rest at the same time. The sight is brighter than my cobra sidewinder.
