Your chance to buy a legend!!

That's right, ladies and gents -- it's your chance to own THE bow that started it all, the MQ-1 of MQ1shooter fame!
There's probably a lot of newer members on here nowadays who have no idea what I'm referring to, but when I originally registered on Huntingnet.com before the turn of the century, I chose as my username "MQ1shooter" as a sort of play on the marketing slogan "I shoot a Mathews."
Well, obviously I don't shoot a Mathews these days, and as I start building my new archery room/work table in my new house, I decided today to go ahead and sell her. She's still a fine bow, and will make someone a great killing machine just as she was for me.
I'm not trying to promote an ad in the classifieds (although some newbie'll come along and think that, I'm sure
- so I'm not even going to link to the ad in the classifieds), but I know I've got some friends whom I've made over the years who'll share in this bit of nastalgia with me.
I guess "MQ1shooter" is truly gone now!

That bow is arguably one of the best bows Mathews has ever built and definitely one of the most popular of all time. I cannot believe we are at a point where we now look upon it as out of date.
...can't believe you are selling it as well.

I would hold on to that bow, they were a fine bow.
There have been more than a few bows i sold, that i kick myself in the butt for getting rid of.
If anything, just the memories of shooting some nice animals with it would make me want to keep it. ( sentimental reasons )

"before the turn of the century"
I don't know why this is the first time I've realised I could use that saying.

hehe just jidding,
I know how sentimental these weapons can become, some guys name them, some sleep with them, some probably have even buried them. You should go to the new owners homegive thema questionaire, you know, make sure they are good people like the Humane Society does before they give up one of their mutts.
