RE: Which Bowtech/Diamond Bow?
I would opt for the Liberty as well...either the Diamond or Bowtech models. Though the Binary Cam system does have some advantages in terms of tuning, speed, etc... the Freedom cam offers a smoother draw cycle in my opinion. I am currently shooting a Diamond Justice and have owned the Bowtech Pro 40 Freedom. Both are extremely accurate bows and I have not had any problems with tuning or accuracy.

RE: Which Bowtech/Diamond Bow?
I shoot an 04 Liberty,it's definately a shooting machine and an awesome hunting bow!You better shoot it last because if you shoot it first you won't be able to put it down and you'll leave with it. It's not as fast as some of the others but it's no slouch in the speed department either. Thefreedom cam is without a doubt the smoothest drawing cam i've ever pulled.I shot lots of bows when i was bow shopping but i just kept coming back to the Liberty so i bought it and have no regrets. Did i mention i love my Liberty! :D

RE: Which Bowtech/Diamond Bow?
ORIGINAL: Greg / MO 40 fps is a fallacy, to be sure. Do they (the binaries) offer advantages? Sure, but not THAT much in fps. If you're looking for super-smooth, I'd go with the Liberty; it was "bow-of-the-year" by several magazines a couple years ago for a very good reason. If you'd prefer as smooth as possible without losing as much speed, I'd go with the Diamond Victory. |
