Clip onto the string. Shoots great and maximizes draw lengthand arrow speed. The only problem is when you draw and let down you need to re-knock your arrow.

Absolutely, I make my own out of old bowstring...it is the perfect combo between a metal loop and a string one, flexable and quiet yet easy to get ahold of and lasts almost forever.
