The rut scent is only a stronger more pungent formula. You do not have to follow their system to get results. Remember, on the video Kevin just walked into an area, sprayed some Rut scent around his stand, and shot that nice buck in Kentucky.
It's synthetic urine, use it as you would regular urine, in mock scrapes, existing scraps, drag lines, etc. Good Luck. |

Can you buy the "4" pack in walmart, gander mountain, etc... or do you have to order from their website?

RE: Best Deer Scent I have ever used. WOW
I believe the 4 pack is 8 ounce bottles and a video. You can buy individual 4 ounce bottles of the pre/post rut, rut, deer stop gland scent and vanishing hunter, their scent eliminator (that can be used as mouthwash, tastes salty :) ) and no video at Walmart et al.

I have always wanted to play around with scents and mock scrapes....but the stupid little one ounce bottles of scent are so expensive they make it cost prohibitive. At $5-10 an ounce for most of the commercial scents available and needing about one ounce to START a mock scrape...much less return to freshen it a couple times. If you used generous amounts of scent you could easily have a $100 mock scrape goin.....multiplied by 4-5 mocks scrapes and next thing ya know ya got $500 worth of smelly dirt scattered throughout the land LOL
That is the main reason I am interested in the Buck Fever synthetics.....they are MUCH cheaper....although I wish they were even cheaper than they are. If you buy one 8oz Fgland for the branch and an 8oz pre/post rut for the ground....thats still only enuff scent to start ONLY FOUR mock scrapes and freshen them each ONE time. So yer still talking about $7 to $10 per mock scrape made and freshend one time. I bought the 8oz pro pack to try this year...we'll see what happens ** I almost got him but I refuse to take a marginal shot ** |

Actually, I buy a bottle of it exclusively to use as a mouth wash... Tastes tangy and salty, that's all. Not really bad, and seems to work well. It's pretty expensive to use as a primary scent eliminator, for that I use Atsko add your own water mix with the pump up spray bottle, very cost effective, as well as works great!
