Default my archery turkey, a limb hanger

I finally got to go back home, KS., to turkey hunt for 3 1/2 days with my buddy. We had a great time. I got threeshot opportunities! I completely missed one at 22 yards. I grazed the back of one that actually jumped the string on me, which can be seen in slow motion on the video very clearly, and I connected on one, whichI beleive is the largest of the three. We used the double bull blind. I shot this turkey with 100 gr. jack hammer from my Mathews Legacy at 34 yards! He has a 10 1/4" main beard, 5 1/2" secondary beard, and his third beard has about 10 hairs and is about 4 1/2" long. Both spurs are 1 3/8" long and he weighs 20#'s. This bird came in with another tom in tow, and the other tom, although he had a good beard, never once strutted or gobbled, so it was obvious who the boss was. The turkey I shot was really fired up and gobbled, andsometimes double gobbled, after every time my buddy called. After the shot, the turkey never made it 20 yards and was down! We got it all on video, which is just to awesome to be able to share the whole hunt with my friends and family!! HadI taken my shotgun, it would've been a short hunt to fill both tags, BUTwith my bow, I got to see more action and it was all good!!

Congratulations!!

I'm getting more and more interested and excited about turkey hunting; I'll probably pick up a DB Matrix next year myself.

Congrads again; he's a great-looking bird!!

Congrats, Howler. Great looking bird. I'm jealous. I've gotten skunked so far. Had a few sneak in without gobbling and never got a shot. Good job.

Absolutely awesome! A turkey with a bow is something I've yet to accomplish.
