I use a LED headlamp. It also has a red bulb, but I may as well not be using anything if I have the red one on. I would rather have a little light on the subject thanstep on something I didn't see and make a boat load of noise. IMO, light don't really scare 'em, but noise sure does.

I use a red light lens to walk in.
