annika2 are you talking about the Yellowjacket bag target or the Foam broadhead only target? Because you should never shoot broadheads into a bag target unless you want to buy a new target in a week.

I blew through my Yellow jacket on the first shot right to the fletching and I'm only shooting about 260fps
You might have been unlucky and by chance got a bum target. I wonder if you could have taken it back?
You must have got a bad target. I have 89 ft-lbs KE and mine only go in halfway.

So maybe it's my devious mind at work, but I smell troll of the devious nature. Annika joined, made 5 post, 4 of which were slamming the Yellow Jacket, the other raving on a new broadhead and condemning all the old style tried and true ones. I think Annika is a salesman pushing a product or unpushing another.[8D][8D]

Ive shot mine 100 times and it still stop broadheads dead. Sweet target for the money and there are few times today when you feel you got MORE than what you paid for. Only thing is it sucks for fieldpoints as far as pulling them out and I know its not made for fieldpoints. I believe it even states that on the target somewhere. Anyway great target.

I simply stated a point on what happened to my arrow on my first shot. Maybe I did just get a bad target (it is the foam broadhead target). I did buy the Block 4x4 target and it has held up very well to both fp and bh shooting. I'm not trying to cause a stir, I'm just stating facts on what happened to me.

I think this target is thee best for the money bar none!I made the mistake of shooting a field tip in it the first time, and had a hell of a time pulling my arrow out.It blows my block targets away.

I, like the others, have not had a problem with mine. I am shooting a 466 grain arrow at 270 fps.
I would suggest you call Morrell (not email, call) and talk to them as they WILL make it right !
IF you did get a defect, they'll fix you up pronto! They have first class customer service!

Well after reading all the great reviews of this target, I purchased one from Cabela's. So being that it's a great night here in southern WI, I thought maybe tonight would be a good time to break in my new slick tricks and my new target. After pinning the paper dots to the face, of the 2 sided target (not 4) I backed up to 20 yards and took 3 shots. All were the same distance right but all in all not too bad. The fun began when I attempted to pull the arrows out. NowI consider myself a fairly strong guy, but I had all I could do to pull them out. I got white foam with each arrow and honestly thought I was going to leave a head or 2 in the target. I was proud of myself for not having an arrow give all of a sudden and ram the nock into my thigh, but that was about the only good thing about it. I packed up and headed back home.3 shots! I have an easier time pulling them out of my Block. Anybody have any idea what gives? I guess the possibility exists that I got a lemon target but I don't really believe that. Mine has the cardboard box in the middle and only 2 shootable sides not the 4 listed on the packaging. Or am I supposed to shoot into the plastic keeping the "block shape", cuz that's what the "side faces have". The way some of these posts rave, I really thought the arrows would just slide right out, boy was I wrong!!!!

My first Yellow Jacket had problems with one of the layers falling out. I contacted Morrell and they sent me a new free of charge and let me keep the bad one. It makes a good backstop for other targets. I know if you shoot field points into it you can't hardly pull them out but I have not had a problem with broadheads. With their customer service they definately have a return customer in me.

Estaban, it's not a field point target. It's for broadheads only.
