anybody see any antlers starting to grow in their area?

Nope, got quite a few buck pics on the game camera in the last month or so and nothing yet. I can't seem to find any of the dropped ones either from last year.....[:'(]

Yes, bucks are sprouting antlers already here. I saw a buck opening weekend of turkey that had nubs already..probably 2-3 inches...I can't think of an April that I haven't always seen at least a couple bucks that have started growin..Our bucks shed pretty early..and as soon as it greens up here like it is now,the proteins are abundant in the feed.

I got a picture of a buck 2 weeks ago that still had his horns!!

I saw one a few nights ago with velvet nubs.

havent seen any deer with horns comin back in but ive seen a few elk with some pretty good anlter growth already especially in the park(yellowstone)

ive still got deer with last years head gear on.

heck, ours have just started dropping racks. About three weeks ago, I was out hog hunting and saw two young bucks still with racks. Thats just crazy.

I have seen some velvet in KY.

We have some pictures from our trail cam of a couple of bucks with little nubs in our area but a friend of ours captured pictures of a buck with 4" velvet spikes already. We haven't been able to find any sheds in our neck of the woods either and it's really irritating. I think that our crazy weather has affected the wildlife in PA far more than people realize, especially our game commission.
