I used to geta lot of those mentioned above, but have pretty much given them up. All the hunting stories are basically the same. Just a change in location and names. It gets awful boring.

I like Petersens BH for their technical as well as hunting articles, Whitetail Strategies for their hunting tips, D & DH for their studies in deer behavior and North American Whitetail for the pics and stories of the biggest bucks taken in north america.

"I used to geta lot of those mentioned above, but have pretty much given them up. All the hunting stories are basically the same. Just a change in location and names. It gets awful boring."

The above quote may be true for some, but for me, even though I've been deer hunting for 38 years, I still read as much as I can get my hands on to learn even more about my favorite past time of all. You can read about the rut or any subject thousands of times and they may all sound the same, but the times that someone words it a bit differently, it may make something click and give me something new to try. It has happened to me dozens of times and I've benifitted by learning something new about the sport and animal that I'm addicted to. For me, you can never learn too much about the things you love the most!
