Is one easier to hunt than the other???

I disagree Moose. As far as just killing a deer with a bow, I think Mule Deer are pretty easy to kill. By that I mean Does and Young Bucks. A trophy Mulie on the other hand, I believe, is much harder to kill than a mature Whitetail.

I would not say one is easier than the other. They both pse different challenges.

I don't know ,but I'd sure like a shot at a Muley ,I've hunted Whitetail's all my life and know that they can be very tricky ,so if a Muley is as tough as a Whitetail I'd sure like to try it .

its pretty hard to hunt mule deer because i live in iowa and have no mule deer

Mule deer id think would be a bit rougher in the open versus up a tree....but both are very wary and hard to hunt.

No. They both posees challenges, different areas, differnt type of hunting. Its like compairing Baja off road trucks to Stock car racing. Same sport, different talents required.

I've only ever hunted whitetails and they are tough enough when you can get up in a tree to suprise them. From what I see on TV, treestand hunting for mulies isn't all that common compared to stalking them. I'm sure they would embarass me if I ever got the chance to hunt them. I might be able to get almost close enough to get a shot at one but just before the shot I'd screw something up and blow it, without a doubt!
