15 to 30 feet, it depends on the tree.

about 20'-22' and that is good for me. I get this nervous feeling when I go above that.[:-]

I go as low as 6' and the highest I go is 20'. depends on the terrain and the available cover. I don't go over 20' b/c I find at that height a light breeze can move a Jack pine several feet which can be very disconcerting! On windy days I sit on the ground.

15 max feet for me, and I actually measure. I like to get them in close, but I don't like steep angle shots.

I like 18-20 staa atop three clibing sticks, I've read articles that 12 is the best, guess if you can get a good backdrop there is no wrong, but I like a low-mid exit wound..

When I hunt from either a lock-on stand or climber, I stay between 15 and 18 feet.

12' to 15' max. im not real big on heights and never felt the need to go any higher than that.

40' permanent stands. holy moly. thats like hunting from the top of a two story house with a 9/12 pitch
