What a beauty! That is a deer of a lifetime! Great mount. I think I missed the post when you originally shot him. Would you mind posting some other pics of him again?

Man, a booner is one thing, a booner with a bow is another, a booner that is an 8-point is rare (and awesome) and to have a mount that turned out that good and have the sheds with it ,WOW you must be on top of the world. congrats

Western MA Hunter, Thanks it is a deer of a lifetime. Here are some pics with the score sheet. The pic with him by tree is how i found him. My Friend who is the tax charged $460, but i think it was worth it.

I've already said what a great buck that is,but, what a great buck! It is very rare for a buck of that size and age to only have 1 2/8" of deductions. Very symetrical. I shot one that only had 1 0/8" in deductions. For a buck like that, I wouldn't care how much it cost to have it mounted. To remember that hunt and see an animal like that is priceless.
