Default wich bow?

im 15 and i have been shooting bow for 7 months now. I have a Parker huntermag 60# 26in draw. When i get a job and my draw stops growing theni would like to get either a mathews switchback or a hoyt trycon in 70#. The only reason for this is that i would like to hunt bigger game and i would like the extra draw weight. wich one of these would you prefer?

You will get many different answers on this one.

I am about to buy a Hoyt Trykon as soon as I get the funds. You should go to a shop and shoot all the bows there. You will get a better idea that way as to what you like/dislike compared to me or anyone else telling you what to buy.

Good luck b/c it will be a hard decision.

Shoot them both and decide for yourself.

This is such a redundant question, you need to do a search.

Of the two bows you listed, I'd choose the Hoyt Trykon.

My friend who was dead set on a Switchback shot the Trykon and ordered the Trykon.

I shot both the Switchback and the Trykon against the Allegiance and bought the Allegiance.

I had a hard time not buying the Trykon...

If you don't shoot them all and decide for yourself, your foolish....are you only going to take our word for it and not shoot them and buy on our recommendations...if not, why ask us? Get out and decide yourself.

With that price range just go to your shop and shoot every bow you can afford, don't limit yourself. I went to my shop with one bow in mind and ended up going with a totally different one.

You mentioned wanting to hunt bigger game. What did you have in mind that your bow won't kill? That bow should be able to handle anything in your part of the world.
