Aaah, Bowhunt4Life... I think I had pushed him to the outer recesses of my memory until you brought that one back up... Thank God some of the posters here stick for years, and -- equally thankfully -- thank God some pass on through quickly!

BuckMagnet.... where in the heck have you been boy. I been missing your face. You'll pop up and then disappear for a month or two. That just isn't going to get it you know. I did see a post about your cameras the other day though, so I guess you're not totally vanishing.

ARTHUR & LEN are a couple that come to mind--i just love it when a newbie comes in here thinking they know everything and start trying to argue facts and numbers only to be corrected countless times by two guys that have forgotten more about bows, arrows and hunting than i will ever know!If only Arthur would try the whisker biscuit,i know he'd see the light:):D;)[8D]

Cardeer. He has a vast knowledge of hunting and his remarks always bring a smile to you're face. You have to admire everything the man goes through to go hunting. Myself as a disabled hunter also he's someone i really look up to.

Wait a minute... can you talk about Arthur with a whisker bisquit on a family forum. That has to be some sort of cardinal sin or kinky or something. If he ever tried one I'd never read another thing he wrote.;) He is what he is and I'd expect nothing less.

As far as Len, well ya'll know what I think of his "bowyerdom".;)

I can't believe that I made someone's list.

I have to say Cayugad over in the Blackpowder thread has helped me the most. I was new to BP and he answered with good info all my seemingly inane questions, most of which I'll bet he had answered many times before.Trip777 runs a close second Thanks to both.

There's a lot of "wisdom" to be gained from just a handful of fellas on this site. Ya just have to realize it when you read it.

Many have great posts which are very informative, but the ONE that popped into my mind when I read the subject of this thread was "ANTLER EATER". The story that he wrote this year was (IMO) perfect! I read that story often and every time, I feel like I'm in the treebeside him.

Again, I enjoy most of the posts I read but that particular post from AE is my favorite so far!

RE: Who makes your favorite Huntingnet posts?

Hey guys! For those that asked where I have been - well my wife and I had twins born on October 13th, and 2 1/2 months premature to boot.... So needless to say we were busy through the fall and winter. They spent a few months in the premie intensive care unit, you can read some of our struggles in this thread if you have not seen it:
http://www.huntingnet.com/forum/tm.aspx?m=1304727&mpage=1&key=&#130472 7
Both girls were homein December and are doing fine now but let me tell you that having infant twins is a lot of work (I only get on here about once a month). Now that spring is here I am coaching my 12 year olds baseball team so even less time for the internet. I also have a 3 year old and I am coaching his indoor soccer team at the YMCA. Four kids is enough and we are done, I took care ofthat this winter as well if you know what I mean;)

On to the topic, some of my favorite posters are:

Shed33
Len in Maryland
Antler Eater
buckeybuckhntr
Greg / MO
IL-Cornfed
Rick James
Nubo
Buck Magnet
Matt/PA
Rob/Pa bowyer

To be honest with you I have sometimes done searches on a few of the above names when I did not have much time to read through pages of threads. I know I have a lot in common with most of these guys so doing a search on their name and reading only thetopics they have contributed to saves me some time reading through the posts that I don't care about. Am I the only one who has done this?

It amazes me how close you can become with someone just through sharing stories & information over the internet. I have only met a few of you in person yetwe share a strong bond. I was truly moved with some of the responses to the thread Ilinked above when my girls were still in the hospital. Good luck to everyone.......

Troy,

From one Troy to another, I am sure glad to see you back here at least to know your still around. I knew I would leave someone off of my list simply by forgetting a "handle". I've always enjoyed reading everything you have posted here. Again, glad the girls are home and doing well, good luck with your son's baseball team and best of luck finding some time in the woods!

Troy

Cayugad

He is in the muzzleloading area mostly. He never has a bad word against anyone and he is always upbeat and positive and he knows his stuff. If you have a muzzleloading question he usually has the right answer.
At the Black Powder board, Cayugad, Sabotloader and Underclocked are all most-informative & easy-going. There are a few others there running close behind.

A lot of guys on here offer some really awesome, practical advice.o I've learned so much from so many people on here, but and no one get their feelings hurt, I've always been partial to 5-shot's reviews. The man has put some great time and effort in evaluating products, especially those broadheads that we all want to know so much about. So, way to go 5-shot, just wish we heard more from him these days.

Kelly
