I'd get a Bass Pro shop charge card. Then I'd go out and charge $5000 or party time. Drinks and girls around. Then I'd pay off the hunting credit card with the inheritance.[8D][8D][8D] OR... I'd put in on a new hunting rig.

Well if your all set up to go for hunting and your happy with your setup ,then I'd be going to Alberta on a elk oan Whitetail combo hunt .If you don't do it now ,you'll spend the money and you'll alway's wish you had taken this advice . But if you need gear then go ahead and get yourself some new gear . Myself ,I'd be taking a serious bowhunting trip .

Invest it, wait 5-7 years, then use that as part of a down payment on some land. Wish I had your (hypothetical) problem...

Buy an ATV, 700 yard drags are a killer.

No doubt about in my mind at all. I would take a western hunt, likely for elk.

I would use it as a down payment to buy some hunting property.

Ok I have a few minutes so i'll jump in.

I guess it would depend on what my Uncle and I did together when he was around. If we Gun Hunted I'd buy a nice gun such as what we always dreamed about, perhaps a Weatherby and then go on a nice Hunt for our favorite species. If we shot clays together, I'd buy that nice shotgun. If we bowhunted, I have the bow i'd want at this time, so i'd go on a Dream Hunt.
Sadly, I've lost a couple of Uncles who I spent many days afield with. While neither of them were "rich" in terms of extra money, laying around, I did inherit a Gun from Each of them. They are amongst my favorites.

I'd go for grizzly in Alaska.

I would use it to get some land or put a down payment on some land.
