I went to pick up my venison yesterday at my local butcher shop. While we were talking, he told me about a deer he had processed yesterday and found a bullet lodged in it. I asked him if it looked like a fresh one and he kind of chukkled and said, yeah, it looked pretty fresh. I've heard of people shooting a deer with a gun and jobbing an arrow through the would to make it appear like a bow kill. That upset me because whoever did/does this is nothing more than a poacher who makes it look bad on all of us real hunters who enjoy harvesting a deer honorably with a bow at close range. Why do people want to do this? I could never bring my self to do that, i'd feel so guilty.

Is not gonna get into why ppl do this or what kind of ppl...just have to say if it was me, i would call the nearest wildlife officer and report this......it's poachen plain and simple.....LOL besides the butcher would have all the info the officer would need.
If god didn't want us to eat animals....Why did he make them outa meat?

I know, the person who did this must not be real smart. He does this and then has the ignorance to take the deer to a processor? If I was the butcher, i'd call the wildlife dept.
