RE: Muzzy Broadheads vs Other brands?

IMO folks concentrate too much on planning for the worst case scenario type of shot that requires going through heavy bones when they should be concentrating on this type of shot never occuring.
I agree in that people should always prepare themselves as best they can to make sure a bad hit never occures but we all know this isn't a perfect world.

There are some broadheads out there that I wouldn't shoot an oppossum in my back yard with much less a deer or other big game animal.

Add in the fact that there are other big game animals out there besides deer that are much bigger and tougher that require a broadhead of superior quality and strength.

No we aren't going to be shooting at any cinder blocks when hunting but one thing is for sure. I know which broadheads have what it takes to get through any animal that I wish to hunt with a bow and arrow and stay together and which ones I will not use.

I'm just going to buy some slick tricks and forget about it. They sound like they are the most durable, best flying, and leave huge holes. I'm sold. I'll let you know how they work. I'm going to Illinois this fall.

Innerloc broadheadsFlylike field points and areso much stronger than Muzzy.
Stronger? I have nothing bad to say about either head used on whitetail. But stronger then a Muzzy? Can you back that up? Below are heads shot at a piece of cast iron at 20 yards (OK, maybe I was bored), 70 pound compound, 2317 aluminums.

I started out with muzzy, 4 years ago. They are durable but some of my arrows I put them on don't fly as straight as I would like them to. I Switched to Thunderheadsfor a year andlast year switch toLiberty heads by American broadheads,Inc and I love the way they shoot. I like the way they fly, straight and true, just like field pointsand the cut on impact is great.MUZZY IS BAD TO THE BONE BUT LIBERTYHEADS FLIES STRAIGHT AND RIGHT THROUGH.
