RE: The new basement is shaping up...
Hey Greg, the basement looks great, that mount looks very nice, probablly one of the nicest mounts I have seen. It looks like the deer ran through the wall and got stuck :D The wall mural is really nice and I have been considering one, like Matt said though, it would be nice to have a few of them with deer. I would really like to see a spring, summer, fall, and winter scene with deer, I think it would be sweet to have each wall change in season!
P.S. The manly lovepillow is a very nice touch, but you definetly need to get another one so you have a matching set ![]() ![]() |
RE: The new basement is shaping up...
Very nice. It looks like you put a lot of work into it. Been there, doing that. My basement is almost finished, we have carpet down, but I still have alot of trim work to do. I too have Trembow's toy problem, 4 kids under 10. I'm pretty lucky though, my wife lets me put my deer stuff in the family room. I have a nice bronze deer collection scattered out amongst my "trophies" and a lot of other stuff. I will post a pic after my newest addition comes in a month or two. Also, that didn't look like the hunting net home page on your computer, are you sick or something?;)

Also, that didn't look like the hunting net home page on your computer, are you sick or something?;) Believe it or not, when my wife and I had our first date, my first question to her before the waiter even brought our food to us concerned the placement of mounts in our house -- if it ever made it past a first date. She said I could put them anywhere I wanted except the bedroom, bathroom or kitchen. I said "fair enough" and we obviously made it past the first date! ;) Sh was so awesome the first several years of living in that itty-bitty starter house, with my massive mounts dominating the landscape that I volunteered not to put any of them upstairs in the "formal" part of the house; I'm happy enough to have them all down here with me. |

ORIGINAL: Greg / MO Actually, that's Rob's thread with his new Allegiance up on the computer at the time of the pic... RE: The new basement is shaping up...
Greg, The basement looks fantastic! I guess I got to this a little late, but I still wanted to say "nice job!" Having a great wife makes all of the difference in the world. I am fortunate as well, my wife actually encourages me to add more wildlife mounts, art, etc. to our home. Once again, congrats. on the new home, and on a very nice basement.
