Yeah SV , I would agree with that!

However , I didn't respond imediately because I was waiting for CD to reply with laughter. When he responded by taking offense at the non-believers , then I posted my reply in a respectfull manner. Although I'm not a newbie , I am a &quot;non-necklace holding folk&quot; who would have replied in the same manner if I had a necklace. If it is a joke , I'll give him credit for playing it to a T and CD himself can pull the line and sinker from my intestines and the hook from my mouth.<img src=icon_smile_blush.gif border=0 align=middle>

Concerning the rompola fake, I mean buck! He was told to put up or shut up. The language in the legal agreement prevented him from having it scored, or calling it a world record until hansons buck was beaten, but the pretext to this was for rompola to make good on his claims immediately, or stop talking about it!
JRW was correct in his assessment of the lawsuit, which is easily verified.
But then, it is extremely easy to shoot holes in Mitch Rompolas storys!
Lets see...he shot the michigan state record at age 9, with a field point.
He shot the Missouri state record at age 14, with a broadhead that was not produced until two years after the fact!
Not to mention that he killed the fake, along with several other behemoth bucks in an area that just does not produce top end world class deer!
I know good ole` cardeer is just having fun here, but Rompola still has not told us the punchline! And CD has not bilked huge sums of money out of nieve sponsers like the dirtbag from michigan did!
Sorry to beat the dead horse again, but this scumbag BS artist burns me up!

I would kindly ask that folks remain civil on this topic. If you have anything to say then please be polite about it.

Big Country,

I'm not a Rompola supporter or beliver. I do not know if the buck is real. I think it is very likely that it is, but it could be a fake and I wouldn't know it. My problem is that people have convicted him on circumstantial evidence and claim to absolutely know that it's fake, which is impossible. They don't know, they suspect, and no matter how much they're convinced it's fake, the absolute truth remains hidden.

I see the venom dripping from the posts of the Rompola haters, and I wonder how such an opinion can form for a guy they don't know, involving circumstances that are not completely known by anyone but Rompola. The exact same thing could happen on this Cardeer post if people take it the wrong way. We don't know what his intent is. Is it a joke, is he lying? Lots of people are already convinced on one side or the other, and at this point there is no way to know for sure. We should view it with an open mind and realize that either is possible.

I thought it was fake as soon as i saw it. The right antler is resting on the tailgate and the spread is different in the second pic.
I went to check out your other photos dude, not to many that show you with the deer in the woods, or not to many with the rack on the deer! I got lots of huge racks and picks i could claim as mine too that picked up at rummage sales, shed hunting, and road kills from cops .I think your legendary status pressured you to outdo yourself this time. Nice try, next time maybe, at least rompolla went through a little effort to get a nice pic of the deer. As a taxidermist i can tell you its really a doe, most wouldnt have noticed but 99% of all bucks have a patch of longer darker (sometimes redish) hair on the top of thier head.does dont have this often, Thats why doe capes cannot be used as a replacement for a botched up buck cape to mount it. Looks like a doe head to me. notic the short light hair all the way throught he scalp, find me a real buck picture with that .
Besides that, either you got a B/C buck that wieghs in at about 110lbs, or your hands are as big as Andre the Giants were!! check out his hand size compared to the head

I personally think it is about time there was some light shed on this subject. I have been respectful and refrained from making these kinds of comments in the past but if you don't want people to reply then you should get rid of the topic. You let some people here take absolute bashings for much less than this. How do you expect people to respond when their intelligence is being insulted?

I agree with you totally straightarrow. I think everyone should believe everything that they hear! What is it with some of these people questioning others? I was always taught to believe everything I heard or read and to never question anything. I can tell you must have been brought up the same as me<img src=icon_smile_question.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_question.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_question.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_question.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_question.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_question.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_question.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_question.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_question.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_question.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_question.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_question.gif border=0 align=middle>

Although, I did read somewhere that if something looks like B@!# S@#%, smells like B#@$ S@#$, and tastes like B@#$ S@#$ that it is probably B@#$ S@#$.
