Browning bows

I live in Indiana and hunt during our shotgun and muzzleloader seasons, but id like to give it a try at archery. I was wondering if Browning was a good bow, I dont have an unlimited price range as id like to have as I am only 16. So if you have any suggestions or comments please let me know. If you know of any good bows in the 300-400 dollar price range also let me know. Thanks for all your help.

I have shot about every brand of bows on the market. Browning is up there as far as quality and price. The Illusion is making some noise for browning this past year. Also, Tornado and Rage is a great bow for the price. Good luck !!!1

The Illusion is a great bow. Main reason it's not as popular as some, is that for the price, someone could and usually do buy a New Bowtech, Mathews, Hoyt, etc. And that's tough competition. If they weren't as expensive, I think you'd see a lot more of them out there.

The Illusion, as someone said, is a WONDERFUL bow. I bought my son one for Christmas. I bought his....with Winner's Choice strings and cables.....for $425.00. I got the factory strings and cables, as well, in the deal.

Look around.....you can find deals on these bows.

RE: Browning bows

All I have ever hunted with is Browning bows (20+ years). They are great bows and won't break the bank. I have shot many different brands and model bows over the years. Yes, somein my opinionshot a little smoother or a little more quiet than my Brownings. Most brands have different types of draw force through outthe draw range due to the different cam type and construction, some were stiffer, some felt easier to pull. Some are faster and some are slower. Some felt good and some didn't. But after all of these years I still see no reason to switch. To me, the difference between the hunting bows offered today by most of the well known bow manufacturers is minimal, they ALL shoot great. From the most expensive on down.

I can afford any bow I like, at any time so money is by far not an issue for me.I shoot a Browning Rage One,why? Because it feels good when I shoot it and ithits where I'm aiming everytime I do my part.

Is Browning the best? I don't know and really don't care. As far asI'm concerned itcould just as easily be a Hoyt orMathews or Parker orMartin or PSE etc....in my hands.

Shoot one first, if it shoots good for you and is in your price range....buy it, practicetill you're proficient with it............then hunt.
