Hey 07,
Check out the thread "Try Cheap" its a thread about lower end bow folks here use and they say if they like them or not. Hope this helps. Also no shame in using a used bow you can get top quality and a good price. Mike

My first bow was a Browning Wind River way back in 91or 92?. It lasted till last year when I bought my F-5 Tornado. I still use it once in a while but I just love my stick bows:D

PSE makes the brownings and does a pretty decent job. I'm not a real big fan but they're alright. If I were you'd I'd think about picking up a Diamond. They're right around your price range and are sweet to shoot. Just some input.

pse doesnt make browning. they are a division of. Just like A/R. They own part. but browning and A/R manufacture there own. And Diamond isnt any better that Browning for sure.

Ding...Ding...Ding...

You are correct sir!

I'm told they even have their own separate R&D teams.

I really like the Illusion, unfortunately it does not come in my draw length so I'm S.O.L. but that's ok because the Brownings I have now have never failed me. They hit where I aim no matter if it'sinthe rain, snow or heat. As a hunter what more could you ask for?

InfactI have never had a problem with any Browning I have ever owned.
