how far are arrows supposed to penetrate foam?

40 pound pull fred brave warrior, the foam is about 2 1/2 inches thick to the tip maybe a little more only penetrates

At what target? Your not gonna punch all the way through it. Targets are made to STOP arrows, not them pass through.

yea that soundsfine, 40 lb pull, what is your draw length? and how far from the target? how dense is the foam?

depends on how tight the foam is what weight ur shooting and arrows could affect it also
