Default I HOPE YOU READ THIS

I would like to congratulate the person who stuck the buck on the state land on #5 in Columbia County in New York. I would also like to think you for sharing all of your success with all the other hunters that use this area. It was so gracious of you to field dress your deer in the middle of the trail and leave the guts there. I found it extremely delightful when I was walking in this morning and found it. It was a real nice touch how the stomach was cut open (I assume to see what the deer had been eating (acorns for those who want to know)). Of course I found it when I stepped in it. And then when I took two more steps it was into a big pile of coagulated blood. Thanks for sharing with me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know that state land is for the use of everyone, but a little bit of courtesy goes a long way. I have seen the buck that has been hanging out in the area and he is not a bad one. So again congratulations on your success.

PD

Hey , thats mighty sporting of you. I appreciate the kind words.

Joking ofcourse, I have too many deer down here in Va to ever think of hunting elsewhere.

Not all people think of the next guy, just remember , maybe he had to do it there for some reason, although off to the side of the path would have been better.

Hunting ; an act of love for nature guided by the strongest spiritual forces.

This was about 30 feet form the parking area. There was all kinds of space for it to be tossed to the side. I just gagged a bit and did it for them. It had been there a day or to and was starting to ripen just a bit. lol

yeah same thing happened to us this guy was notorious for that kinda of crap that and hang the deer's ball's or gut's over the trail so some would walk into it, but we fixed him the day before he had shot a doe and did his little trick of hanging it thinking he was funny when he showed up the next day,we gave him back his gut pile on his motor on his muffler maybe it was wrong for us do that but he hasn't been back either

Maybe they are maybe they aren’t. I don’t know. I believe that the posts in this forum work in many different ways. I usually learn or am enlightened to new things and or ideas form each post that I read. Maybe this will help a new hunter just starting out to be conscious where they dress there deer or maybe the one that did do it may read my post and have the same effect. I don’t know. My wife is an anti-hunter (try living in my house) and this is one of the few places that I can talk hunting. So I apologize, but yall get to hear what I can’t tell her when I get home from “playn in the woods”.

Weren't we all taught as kids to "always leave a small footprint", or those of us who were Boy Scouts to always leave our campsite or area better than we found it. Maybe this guy needs a lesson in common courtesy.
