There actually was a 511 pound whitetail taken in minnesota in 1926. I found the info in one of my hunting books so if anyone has any disputes take it up with the author.

i know its not a photo shop or anything the buck was real, and it was proved real

I get sick of people see something to big and right away start with the the photo shop theory. I could see a deer getting thisbig.theres always a freak somewhere or he lived ina grain bin.

it was in the world record books, i think if its in there it was proven real.. i just wanted to see a pic of it, but it was shot so long ago i dont know if camera were even invented yet :eek:

i had a 500 pounder on my property but the ol boy got hooked on the deer cain and hes down to nothing now

I was refering to when the 412lb deer got picked apart by all the people. Everyone was claiming photo shop there.

If a mancanget to be 800 +lbs it shouldn't be too much of a stretchto believe thatan animalspecies whose average adult weight is about the same as ours can reach 500.
