Mount Back ALREADY!
 

Well I got the call a few weeks ago that he was done and I was amazed it usually takes a year or so. A friend of mine killed a 170 class buck last year and used the same shop and his was returned in about a month also. In the past I have had 3 mounts here and all 140 class or so and took a year.

Anyway who cares. I can put the pictures away and drool at him in my easy chair now.....Ah sweet home!

Looks great, i cant wait for mine to get back. Hey why does it take longer for him to do a 140" or better buck. I sure hope that he doesn't do a better job on them then he would on a smaller buck.

You read it correct. The Big 10 only took a month to get back as I left it Dec 10, 2005and had it back the end of Jan 06. The others took a year.

I think it has to do with the value of the animal. This shop had a total fire loss in late 80's and they lost at that time the World Record 6 pt. I asked an owner of a pay to hunt facility what I would have paid to get him in his pen and he said 10k....ha no way I will do it the real way 100% Wild.

My dad also had a Buck stolen from his house several years ago that is about 176 and valued at approx 6k. We know this because we got it back as the crook sold it to Bass Pro.
