I don't doubt your story is true..........I just don't see how Bass Pro paid $6,000 for a 170 buck. They built a new BP right by my brothers house and they wouldn't pay for anything.......wanted all donations........and like I said they have bucks that size just hanging over the changing rooms as decoration. It's not like a 170 buck is a centerpiece in a place like that. If they paid $6,000 for every decorative buck in the place they would be out $200,000 alone just to cover wall space. If BP really paid that then your dad is VERY fortunate...........yet VERY unfortunate that someone stole it from him.

One thing I don't understand is you say you still have the evidence tags on the deer antlers........how did you collect insurance money on a stolen deer if you got it back??? If someone steals your car and you get it back you don't get money from the insurance company.
