Deer in back yards? My grandmothers husband feeds deer in his backyard. He has several that will take crackers from his mouth...no one else can even be in the yard including my grandmother or the deer turn inside out to run...they fear humans, just not him....it's a learned trait. Come deer season, they are gone and then turn up later.....I also had a friend that had a buck take to him....if he was in the woods, the buck would show up..he has pictures of the buck coming to him but noone else could dare be around....again, they learn and adapt.

For anyone else who's maybe seen it, tell me what you think about that one squirrel that is always pecking at the base of that closest tree. He's always to the right of it and turned towards the tree. He sits there sometimes for a half hour but the food there never disappears. Just now I saw him grow in size significantly while standing still then returned to the original size after about 8-9 seconds. Not sure what that's about. And what is it about the base of that tree that makes him and probably other squirrels love being there? I'm just wondering if anybody's seen the same thing that's all.

What purpose would it serve, to FAKE a squirrel at a feeder? I have squirrels at my feeders all the time. And yes, they will stay put at one spot, for several minutes, as they are eating the corn that is there. Why would they move around if there is a pile of corn in front of them. In the wild, squirrels have to search for acorns in the leaves. So under those circumstances, they move around alot.Those are the squirrels that most of us see.Again, they don't need to move around much when there is a whole pile of corn in one small spot. As for it changing sizes, you probably saw the tail shifting positions, which might make it appear to change sizes. What would the reasoning be, to FAKE the squirrel changing sizes???

The camera is real. I find it interesting as do many others. It suprises me that some would think it is fake.

i think its real and the squirrel that sits there for a long time is real also. and as said before if the squirrel or animal has some food that it can sit there and just stuff its face and there is nothing else that is there to harm it, it will stay there for a long time. so again the camera is real!

The food never disappears because that is a feeder. More food comes out the bottom. The squirrels hit one more than the others probably because it's the closest one to their home tree. There were about 5 apples around the mineral block that have slowly disappeared in the last few days. The shed antler keeps getting moved around also.

and the guy that said you should just shoot the deer in the head when they come up to you.... IM not that mean i dont hunt within a 100 miles of those deers. I hunt in an area where deers have never seen a human

That was me. I was TRYING to explain that those deer are going to think all humans are safe and therefore won't fear humans when they see them during hunting season. Reading comprehension son. Study up on it.

ummm maybe there like that for a reaon.. maybe those deers are in a no hunting animal preserve.....dont jump to conclusions.. and i think you needto learn english comprehension cause i restated exaclty what you said..

also those deers will only come up to you if you have apples so unless they leave the 1200 miles of preserve and walk up on a hunter illegally baiting them thenyah i think there pretty safe....

I don't know if it's fake or real and could really care less. My question is what possible motivation would a person have for faking a video of a couple feeders, some trees, and squirells wandering around? What do they have to gain?
