WHAT BOW!!!!!!
I have a alright bow setup right now but in the near future am looking to get a better set up. What I want to do is buy a new bow and outfit it with top of the line sights, quiver, arrows, stablizer, etc. Are there any suggestions you guys can give me on a kind of bow to get(remember i just want the bow bare with nothing on it). Also can you give me a price range on how much the bow you reccomend will cost. Any help would be great thanks.

RE: WHAT BOW!!!!!!
Plan on spending roughtly:
$650-$700 for bare bow (preferable BowTech) $125-150 for real good sight $75 for a good rest $30 for a quiver (match quiver brand w/ bow brand for best performance) $60 for 6 carbon arrows $60-$100 for good release For all top of the line gear, plan on spending $1000-$1200 for a complete setup. Although you don't necessarly need all the best equiptment to be a good shooter. It is all about what you are comforable with. |
RE: WHAT BOW!!!!!!
no offense to you or anything, but i kinda find it funny how soo many people post on what bow to buy. everyone will suggest something but it really matters on what you like and what your comfortable with. JMO

RE: WHAT BOW!!!!!!
Well, you asked opinion, so here goes.
Hoyt UltraTec Trophy Ridge Drop Zone Cobra Easy Slide Extreme Shockblocker stabilizer Easton A/C/C arrows TruBall Tornado Deluxe release Total cost..........$1100. That's my set up, and I am .....well......MOST pleased with it. But you know what......you may not like it at all. First, decide on your price range. Second, shoot as many bows in that range as you can. Then, pick the accessories. |

ORIGINAL: krojemann Plan on spending roughtly: $650-$700 for bare bow (preferable BowTech) $125-150 for real good sight Now, that is funny. Preferably Bowtech? Now I get it, the level of the playing field is not level at all, just biased!:DLOL, just picking on ya. And to offer some advice on this post, you can get a good sight under $100, even with micro adjustments. Tru-Glo for example is one of many companies that can provide a competition worthy or hunting worthy sight. Many sights out there have to follow one rule-how good of a shot are you? A $300 sight will not make you shoot better, or a $50 sight won't make you shoot any worse. |
