College Paper- NEED INPUT!
 

Hey guys:

I'm doing a paper on the rising costs of licenses here in Indiana. Kind of wondering what license prices are for deer tags in your states so I have a comparison. Our paper has to be on something that has an economic impact. My teacher said my topic would be great to cover. Just need some input and maybe some ideas. I'd appreciate it guys. Thanks so much.

Well in missouri firearms tags for deer are 17.00 for your any deer and 7.00 for doe tags. Archery tags are 19.00 for 2 anydeer tags and 2 turkey tags. Hope this helps

$26.00 for a resident bow tag here in Illinois. That gives you two tags one for either sex and one for anterless only. This does not include the regular hunting licence you must purchase.

Edit: Forgot to add, firearm tag is $15.00

In Ohio it's $19.00 for a hunting license, $24.00 for a deer tag. There are other prices for groups like seniors and youths, but those are the basic prices

Its illegal for us to walk thru the bush with a firearm (including a bow) without a small game permit - $19.
These prices are for one animal, you can buy additional for bow only deer in some areas, bear gun in some areas, and a 2nd turkey.

Idon't have stats to back itup but I'm pretty sure the economicimpact of huntingis seen more in gas, hotels, gear, guiding etc. than what the government takesonly to turn around and waste it.

I would hit the web sites also. Like mich dnr web site, they are soon to have talks in regards to raising fees due to budget deficits. Last price hike they had was 1996. Or so they say.
