Default Smaller vanes

I recently paper tuned my bow and it is shooting quite well. I was thinking of putting the Blazer vanes on. How will these shorter vanes affect my arrow flight?

It won't.. I shoot blazers for hunting.. and I also shoot 2.3 Dura vanes and 2.5 Dura vanes... I don't even have any 4" vanes anymore.. You will like the blazers they are real durable.

I have arrows with 3" feathers, 2" Blazers, and 2.25" Quickspins.

They fly just as good as a 4 or 5" vane IMO. Arrow flight for me is as follows best to not as good. 1) 3" feathers, 2) 2.25" Quickspins 3) Blazers.

None f them fly bad but as fas as consistency is concerned that's how it is working out for me so far.

i had never used them, yesterday i went and bought a new bowtech tribute has a wisker biscuit deluxe, dead nuts pro sight, sims s coil and picked up some eaton axis 340 st's with blazers, was not sure about them but dealer told me if i did not like the arrows or vanes he would buy me 12 arrows of my choice and free vanes.well i shot about 15 arrows there "inside" 30 yrds. took the bow out side today and shot about 40 arrows from 15 to 50 yards while sighting in the bow.Well i was sold they fly so smooth and straight work very nice with the biscuit.will be going back and getting another dozen next weekend..

feathers are better and 4" feathers are just as fast 3" should be faster. i tested my arrows with both and my friends. 4" feathers were about 4 fps faster. they shoot fine though just dont see why you want something so small when you could have 4" of feathers controling the arrow instead of 2.5"

I just added the Blazers in my arsenal of tinkering this year. The only shooting I've done is testing the Big 3 (see thread). So far, I'm impressed.

HAve to agree Bradkoz on this, stick with feathers, especially with a WB. My experience has been that WB will strip vanes right off, the feathers give. Also feathers when chewed up still fly good!
