How many on here hunt bear its about 60 days away. If there is one animal made for bowhunting it is a blackbear.

You better pick another provence there is no spring season for bear in ontario.

andrew-you might want to set your goals a little lower. A 7 footer is a huge bear and throwing in the blonde color you are sure to be disappointed. From what I've seen in 4 trips, 5-6 footers are more the norm with an occasional chocolate thrown in. I maybe hunting the wrong area, but thats been my experience. By the way I am going back again this year looking for a 6 footer. I really enjoy the hunt and some pretty good fishing that goes with it.

Yup that's true. You can only hunt in the fall.....Try British Columbia.

I will be bear hunting by late April or early May depending on the snow levels in my bear spot. I can't wait!

i wish i could afford to go bear hunting. there are no bear in ohio so that rules my state out. so i have no choice but to go somewere else and that can be expensive.
