Default deer trick

well after my dad shot his deer this year he was eatin chicken gizzards in his stand. Get this everytime he carried gizzards he saw deer well he let me hunt his stand after he shot his deer cause he had seen another shooter there. well i hunted hard ive days in a row and all i could ever see was does and cowhorns. well i broke dow and i went and got me some gizzards. sure enough that night he was down. so now i have a superstition (or how ever you sp it) that i will probably follow to the t lol

Since I don't really care for gizzards do you think I could just bring a live chicken instead?

Could get a little interesting.
