Great link Steve! But just so folks don't get either confused or uproarious, that shoulder blade is from a whitetail, not a bison. Those are two different stories there.

One story is about how he shot through one shoulderblade of a whitetail and into the other.

The other story is about how with a 415 grain carbon arrow out of a longbow with a 4 blade steel force head, his friend shot and got a complete passthrough on a cow buffalo....no shoulderblade contact though.

No illusions here bison have big bones and I am not going for a bone shot if at all possible
