RE: Another odd pic
I saw this fawn last night and it sure is small.
I'd say around30-35lbs I was gonna drop the mother last nightbut dident want to leave this one to fend for itself all winter I dident no they can keep the spots all year. It's been a wild week in the woods Got the black yote, foxs turkeys this spotted fawn and I saw an albino tuesday night at a different stand |
RE: Another odd pic

RE: Another odd pic
A couple of years ago I had a fawn with spots that couldn't have weighed more than 20lbs. keep coming to my calling at the end of november. It was about the size of a coyote. I seen it three or four different times I sat that stand. I never seen it with a doe and niether did the guy who hunted the property next door, who also seen it a few times. Most deer that are that small fall to predators before this late in the year. Pretty cool pic.

I was also thinking maybe it was born late too. That's my only guess.
