cool rack!! any signs of what killed him?

I like keeping the skull intact and doing European mounts when I find bucks dead.

This one was in bad shape, i was going to do that untill i about lost it 5 times. God it smelled awefull. I started cutting around the base of the head and there was a bunch of puss like stuff coming out. I just held my breath and cut the antlers off. Dont know what killed him, probably one of the tresspasers that hates me cause i have permission to hunt the land. They have already taken 3 deer stands, i could care less about them they are replaceable, i would have like to see what this deer looked like next year with that browtine.

That's a real shame, where there any bullet holes in him or anything?

Couldn't really tell, the yotes had been eating him pretty bad. If there was it would have been in the gut area that is were the coyotes were eating. Nothing on the shoulder.

Yeah they dont do anyting.[:@] These people are just terrible, this piece of property produces some very nice deer. No one has ever had permission to hunt it but they try every year. My parents built a house about 5 years ago and the guy who owns the land is my neighbor. Well after about a year of kissing his butt, i asked him if i could bow hunt it. He said no problem, and i was just dumbfounded i had no clue what to say. I basically shook his hand and said if you ever need any help with anything call me. I also told him that he can use any of my stands that i will be setting up and he liked that idea. The people that live in the subdivision hate me for it but hey whatever. I cant even hunt back on the back portion of the property, it is like they watch for me and when i start climbing with my climber they start yelling and being very loud. I just climb down and leave. I would really like to go up there and start throwing some fists somedays but i dont fell like going to jail over it.
