Has anyone bowhunted the national forests in west virginia this year??? , From my viewpoint , it was about the worst season I can ever recall . I know they encountered some cases of CWD ,but , I covered to many areas and the results were similiar, not many deer and those that I saw did not have the rack size that I have seen in past years. what happened??

I didn't hunt the Nat. Forest but I did hunt the Wallback WMA and saw nothing at all. From almost everyone that I've talked to thesighting in WV are down all over the state.The DNR will say that it was the weather and the mast crop but I personally think it's the years of allowing to many deer to be killed.
