I can't say that I have had a better better broadhead target then my home made one. Replacing the core only cost about $20. That is a Muzzy 145 grain broadhead stuck in it shot out of a 70 pound compound.

I prefer large, heavy racked bucks, or coyotes, or even turkeys:D

Another vote for the Yellow Jacket - great target for the price.

whatever ya do, dont get one of those with foam that gets denser toward the back. (cabelas carries one now, there fairly cheap. got mine at a local sporting goods store). they stop arrows with broadheads or field tips great, but they advertise easy arrow removal. ya right, i have to set mine on end, stand on it and pull with both hands. yuk

is that the block you are talking about? With mine never had any trouble with any tip or broadhead. With the Crimson talon i had to twist backwards to keep from bending blades, but other than that, most are one hand!

nope,
cabelas calls it the mdl broadhead target. the one i got at rocky mountain discount i cant remember the name, and a buddy has it right now.

will try to find out the name and post.

like i said, they stop an arrow fine, its the retrievel that really sucks.

Sounds like a real bad deal, and I am sure others are better than the Block but I am satisfied and will use it till it wears out!
