Is anyone else getting hit with these annoying popups on here? I never used to and I have a pop up blocker to boot.

Just making sure it is not just me.

Nope I have apop-up blocker and I know mooseslayer3 only gets them on the front page at the start.

It may be me. I just got one on another site. I might have gotten one of those ad things installed from somewhere.

Sounds like it might be spyware. They use Windows Explorer to do popups, not internet explorer. Is the popup a Windows Explorer. If so you have spyware.

I never get them....but then...I never go to the main page.

Use Ad Aware, SpyBot, Norton for spyware,and CounterSpy if you encounter a trojan virus...like the infamous "WinFixer 2005" popups. With the combination of those programs...as well as a free popup blocker like Popup Stopper Free Edition and Google blocker...nothing will get thru and everything will run at it's max.

Me neither. No pop ups here.

I use mozilla products and love them. I have firefox now and thunderbird for my email. Rarely do I get a pop up and like the email much better than outlook. I get a lot less spy ware as well.

I use Mozila Firefox as my browserand Norton as my security suite and I get no pop ups ever.
