Default Muzzy's 100's rock , litterally

Just a quick note. Went hunting yesterday and drew on a goat and missed right undder it . Was a tricky 35 - 40 yarder ( no excuse) . Before my shot I noticed this goat was infront of rock's , stones , and a cliff. Anyways watching my arrow dip under the goat , thinking it would rickashei ( rick a shay) I noticed it stuck straight. I got to it and saw my arrow sticking straight out of a solid lava rock!! My muzzy 100 (3 blades) and insert pushed deep into the arrow and split the arrow about an inch down . After a cupple trys the head came out of the rock without any damage , I couldnt believe it .Back on an arrow it wentIn the past my cheaper broadheads would just blow up upon hitting rocks , even trees.
So to say the least I think the muzzy 100 rock!!!!

Yes, they are tough! Here is a picture of a Muzzy that I shot at cast iron (Don't ask why). It's a 145 grain four blade shot out of a 70 pound parker compoud.

Yeah that would have been cool if the arrow were to "ricochet"and take down that goat.

Thats an amazing pic there BobCo. I might have to try that with my thunderheads just to see what it would do. At what distance did u shoot it from?

.308, it was roughly 20 yards, here is a picture of another head that I shot during the same test, everything except the head was the same:

Not only do Muzzy's hit hard and are rock solid, but they fly very true (atleast out of my bowtech) There isn't much different for me between my field tips I use for leagues, and the Muzzy 100's I hunt with. I'm hooked on Muzzy. ~Bad to the Bone~ is right
