Default Which Bowtech?

Well, I am thinking about purchasing a new bow. I would like a bowtech, but don't know much about them. Right now, I am just looking and getting a feel for the prices. When I narrow it down more, I will go shoot them. I don't even mind a 2004 model, but no older than that.
Anyway, for you bowtech guru's, which one should I look at?

Tell us first what you're looking for in a bow; will you be mostly bowhunting -- and, specifically -- from a treestand most of the time? Do you plan on mixing in some 3D or spot shooting?

What characteristics are important to you?

If you are looking for a used or left overbow and want to save some cash I would hands down suggest the 04 or 05 Patriot VFT SC. Perhaps the favorite bow I have ever owned

Best of luck picking that perfect bow.

Hunting mostly, but will do some spot and 3D. 90% hunting, and almost all of that from a treestand. Looking for fast and forgiving. ATA doesn't matter that much to me. Smooth on the draw, little or no shock on the release. Camo'd of course. 30" draw and 72#.

Fast, forgiving, lots of treestand hunting -- plus little or no hand shock -- with a little bit of 3D thrown in... I'd say the Tribute for sure.

But like I've said, if you go shoot one... "Take money with you!"

I don't think I've EVER felt a bow that generates those speeds that dead in my hand at the shot. Heck, who am I kidding? I don't think I've ever felt a bow that dead in my hand, period!

Thinking about converting...AHAHAH

Well if your looking for a new bow, shoot the 06 tribute and allegiance. If you want soemthing a little longer try out the old glory. They all have very respectable speed. 04-05 check out Patriot and Liberty. I shoot a liberty and its super smooth but you'll be happy with anyone that you choose.
