The Last Thing She Gave Me Was The Bird !!!
yesterday morning,while watching a doe feed through the hammock I saw a turkey coming. it ended up being a gobbler. at 20 yards the spitfire three blade droped him on the spot.went in just below the wing,cut just the bottom of the breast on the off side.
Yesterday afternoon,about 10 miles away,my wife took another gobbler of her own.she hit hers where the neck joins the body,GREAT SHOT ON HER PART!! need to say he fell right there also.sh said " ha I didn't mess up any meat" what could I say!!!
they were not old boss toms,just jakes from last year. but I figure any gobbler with a bow is a good gobbler. cardeer==( she had the necklace.)<img src=icon_smile_approve.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_cool.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_approve.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

Hey Tree climber that is awesome. Shooting a turkey with a bow has been impossible for me. Every time I draw, buc,pluck,pluck,buc, and they are already out of sight. Darn turkeys have eyes like an eagle.

Congratulations Tree Climber & Mrs. Tree Climber...any bird with a bow is a tropy! I had a big ole' Tom (beard was to the ground) walk under my stand the other day....but fall season doesn't open until this weekend....so I didn't get to even draw, just sit and watch and wish.
