Ive done it to a doe when she was almost right under my stand That a risky shot though cause if you only get one lung they can go a long ways but they do bleed good when the hole is in the bottom of the rib cage

Not a good shot to continually make a habit of taking, too little room for error for my tastes.

I think it's cruel, I would never do it on purpose. It's the lungs or nothing for me when I have a bow in my hands.

Never on purpose. Lungs or heart only.

Why would you ever TRY for a spine shot? That is a very cruel and painful way to put an animal down. These shots usually require another shot to finish the job. I would definately not be proud of myself for taking a deer with a spine shot!!

I agree with what the others have said very inhumane way to take an animal. my good friend and owner of the land I hunt was paralyzed by an accidental shot to the spine. and I see what he goes through. so I would never purposely shoot an animal in the spine.

Absolutely not,as other's have said it's definately not a shot to be trying for any reason .A spine shot is usually a lucky shot and tell's you that you almost missed .It either vital's or nothing for me .
