Default cuddeback question ?

I am sure this post is probably repetitive so I apologize upfront but I want to find out if the Cuddeback is really as good as their website says it is. I just bought a Stealth cam for 200 dollars and I was happy with everything except for the triggering speed.(it took 5 seconds)SO I took it back and got my money and I am now looking for a faster triggering speed digital camera. Before
I spend the extra money I need to know two things. Is the triggering speed almost instant? (around one second)Also all the pictures I see from the cuddeback (well most of them) have the deer only 3-5 feet away. Will the camera reach out to 20-25feet? Thanks for any replies that help before I spend the cash

yep it is that fast on trigger speed and I've gotten picts from around 60 feet away the cooler it is the further it will trigger because it not only detects motion but body heat also.

Here are just three of the more than 2000 pics I've gotten over the past 15 months. I've got the 1.3 and the 3.0 and yes, the trigger is fast and the distance is good. I had also gotten another camera to play with, the Molutrie 100, and I set both up in the front yard to catch cars going by. Each time, the Molutrie would only capture "street", but the Cuddeback caught the cars going by, and was almost an instant....Two of these pics are of deer jumping....

Pretty sure the fence is to keep the hogs and other animals out. Looks to be in Texas so that is my guess.

The cuddeback is the best trail cam out, i just bought the 3.0 and i love it.

I have about 50 Cuddeback pictures posted on my site. I am pleased with the quality and have no problems with the trigger being too slow.

Big Ol,

How did you set up the camera to get the pictures that are looking down on the deer. Those are great pictures.
