I got him at around 156 to 158. Looks like real heavy mass. I guessed about 18" per side. Nice deer, at least a 4 1/2.

I can't believe someone thought that buck is only in the 120's???[&:]

He is every bit of 160 or better gross IMO...great mass, tine lenght, and spread....very nice buck!

Corn is free for me, well, I guess it should be if I grow it for a living. I have grain bins full of corn, too bad I can't bait pile here in IL.

when people started putting that i couldn't believe it either. That is there guess, i decided to set up about 400 yards north of this spot tonight so hopefully i can see where he is coming from and get on him sat. evening. Hopefully i can give you a score this afternoon or next:D. I wasn't going to hunt him cause i wanted to give him another year, but i just have to go out and try, i mean who doesn't want a 150+ whitetail.

EXACTLY!! Go get him!! Any buck that nice that is a wild free rangedeeris worth trying to harvest, period. All these guys that say let him go another year, when he's between 140 -160, are nuts. not even in Alberta would I pass on a buck that nice. Ive shot bucks over 140 and he's too nice to pass up even in your neck of the woods. "Leave him for next year", thats just crazy.

Hey thanks Deisel77, i am planing on getting into the woods at about noon and just sitting there and waiting him out. Even if it is too dark to shoot, when i see him i dont care i just want to see him. if i dont get a shot then there is always next year.
